JULY: STITCH THERAPY BROOKLYN

Garter stitch cabled cowl
People if it is too hot to knit or crochet I have attached a few links to alternative craft ideas to entertain you through the end of the summer.  The first is cardboard weaving (Woven Place Mats Pattern Number: L0676) and the second is a pom pom rug (Pom-Pom Rug Pattern Number: L0081) bOth made with yarn.

I just finished my second cowl in this beautiful garter stitch cable stitch, the space in-between each cable act as a buttonhole.  Yarn is a worsted weight this sample is in Lana Grossa Alta Moda Alpaca - charcoal with black buttons. A quick and chic accessory for the coming season.

Magic Loop Samples Fall 2011
These fingerless glove samples just arrived from Maine where Kris Percival test knit the projects for the next round of Magic Loop classes. If you use Ravelry.com go to Pumpkinbutter's projects and click the "magic loop" tab for a link to the patterns.  At the end of September the Magic Loop class will run every other week on Sunday's check stitchtherapybrooklyn.com in the next few weeks for the new schedule.

Vintage Onsie
Did you see this cute onsie knit in Schulana Merino Cotton 135
the  pattern is written in three sizes from the neck-down.
